Mother of Order

Martin Hall and Cath Rogan have been stalwarts of the local music scene, filling village halls, pubs and festival stages for the last five years as part of the Surrey Ukeaholics.

Mother of Order is their own project and was born from shared politics, shared concerns and a general anarcho-syndicalist outlook on life as well as a desire to do more than cover pop songs from the last century.

They are currently working on material from or relating to the Lancashire Cotton Famine, but it's probably more accurate to say that they write and sing songs of industry and songs of love.
